Sustain Ontario is looking for a film production company to produce 25 short films about Ontario’s good food ideas. This project, undertaken in partnership with sixteen of Ontario’s food and farming organizations with funding from the Ontario Market Investment Fund will tell the stories of the good food ideas that are transforming the future of food in the province.

We are looking for a production company with the following qualifications:

· Extensive commercial film-making experience

· In-house filming and production capacity and equipment

· Demonstrated animation capacity including stop motion animation

· Strong experience making films in food and farming sectors

· Existing relationships with food and farming organizations in Ontario

· Expressed commitment to values

Application Process:

Interested applicants should prepare a brief proposal and submit them by email to Ravenna@sustainontario.com by April 20, 2011.

Proposals should include:

Company Profile (100 words or less); Food and farming background and partnerships (200 words or less); Summary of company’s animation capacity (100 words or less); Artistic vision for the project (150 words or less); Overview of work plan for completing production within the 2011 calendar year (100 words or less). Additional information and attachments may be invited by Sustain Ontario following this initial proposal.
