PRESERVING THE HARVEST – CANNING PEACHES

A project of Canadian Organic Growers – Diversity Gardens

•Want to enjoy fresh peaches over the winter? Not sure where to begin? 

•Join us for the canning basics.  

•Learn everything you need to know to can at home. 

•Take home 3 jars of peaches with you. 

•Workshop led by Theresa Schumilas of Garden Party. 

Register early –space is limited! 

Perth-Waterloo-Wellington Chapter). It is a not-for- profit, charitable project dedicated to raising awareness of organic issues. We provide hands on training in growing ornamentals, vegetables, fruits and herbs using organic techniques. The gardens are open for self-guided tours on Saturday mornings from the beginning of May to Thanksgiving. On those days, our certified organic produce is available for sale at our farm stand on site. Join our Back to the Future Gardening Club and support our work. In exchange for $50 for the season (charitable receipt for $25) or 10 hours of your time in garden labour, you will receive monthly gifts over the summer. Ask us about it!
