Rake Around, Sustain Ontario’s newest member, has created an online urban garden market that connects people with trusted local producers, gardeners and farmers!
RakeAround’s online platform makes it easy for users to find fresh produce grown right in their neighbourhood. Likewise, the online platform offers producers with the opportunity to reach buyers and sell products directly in their area.
As a member-based organization, Sustain Ontario is devoted to growing our membership in an effort to expand our reach in improving food systems across the province.
RakeAround is hoping to develop collaborations and partnerships with many different actors in the urban agriculture field; if you are interested be sure to contact info[at]rakearound.com.
The RakeAround online platform was initially made available to the public last May, but they are currently preparing for an official launch in the spring of 2017. The launch will see events in the GTA and Ottawa, as well as other Canadian cities throughout the season.
