School Garden Day - IGES PhotoAnother springtime means another School Garden Day! This year, celebrate School Garden Day with other teachers and students across the province on May 20th (or anytime that week).

School Garden Day is all about celebrating the gardens and planting – and thus the good food education – sprouting up across Ontario schools. To join in, schools should register with Imagine a Garden in Every School (IGES) to be added to the 2016 Garden Map.  You can view last year’s map for examples.

Out in a garden? Growing some indoor plants?  Then get your school on the map!  And on the week of May 20th, send photos to IGES of what your school is doing to celebrate. All participating schools will receive a certificate.

If you are on Twitter, then be sure to also share with #SchoolGardenDay.
