From the Organic Council of Ontario (OCO):

OCO is offering a farm tour July 24th starting in Brussels, ON and ending in New Hamburg, featuring a 500a biodynamic sheep operation, a 1000a state-of-the-art organic dairy, and a horticulture operation. Come learn about our soil-based management approach, observe neonic-free grain production, and explore with us how the province could be a world leader in organic production!

This tour is a first come first served tour, with a lunch and evening barbeque offered! We welcome commodity group members and leadership, policy folks, retailers seeking a closer connection to the products they sell, farmers of all persuasions, and media folk seeking to understand the organic system in a more comprehensive fashion… participating in a partial day is possible, please contact us to discuss.

Whether you’ve been organic farming for decades or work the cashier post at your local food co-op, this tour will have something for everyone!
