In January 2012, FoodShare Toronto, Sustain Ontario, and Green Thumbs Growing Kids launched a broad public survey to learn more about potential interest in a network that would link groups across the province who are connecting kids with good food, as well as to discover what these groups are already doing and what activities a network could provide that would be of use to them.

As of March 2013, this survey has received 163 respondents.  These responses have been compiled to inform the Network’s next steps and we invite you to access the summary of responses.

Since the launch of the survey, the Ontario Edible Education Network has been established through Sustain Ontario.  In February 2013 the Network initiated a broad Action Planning process as Phase 2 of our needs assessment process to build on the survey results and develop an Action Plan for the Network (to learn more – see our call for applicants).
