Ecosource’s 2019 Advanced Teacher Training program: approaches to educating for sustainability

Ecosource has announced their newly-updated Advanced Teacher Training program for 2019, run in partnership with York University’s Faculty of Environmental Studies.
The program offers hands-on learning and professional development for educators interested in the latest tools and strategies for environmental education.
There are four different modules offered, each with two days of hands-on workshops and field trips. The program will provide ready-to-use tools, resources and lesson plans that educators can start using in their classrooms right away.
MODULE 1 – Food Systems and Gardening for the Curriculum
Sat, Feb. 9th and Sat, Feb. 23rd, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
MODULE 2 – Water, Green Infrastructure and Environmental Campaigns
Sat, Mar. 2nd and Sat, Mar. 23rd, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
MODULE 3 – Nature Play and Fostering Outdoor Connection
Sat, Apr. 13th and Sat, Apr. 27th, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
MODULE 4 – Land-Based Learning and Truth & Reconciliation
Sat, May 11th and Sat, May 25th, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
All teachers are welcome! Registration per module is $20.
