Ontario Farmland Trust’s 2019 Farmland Forum will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. in Niagara Region at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area.

The forum will host presentations & discussion on:

  • Public-private partnerships in New York that use farmer-driven approaches to promote water quality protection and agricultural viability
  • Planning strategies/tools that take a farm-first approach to farmland and environmental feature protection
  • Whole-farm and broader system approaches and land use planning policy in Ontario and beyond

Tickets will be available in January 2019.

An early-bird rate at $125 will be available until March 7, 2019. After March 7th, tickets will cost $140. ($100 for OFA, CFFO, NFU members; $60 student rate available.)

The forum is designed for anyone interested in farmland protection in Ontario, including farmers, land use planners, researchers, land conservation enthusiasts, provincial policy makers, and municipal councillors.
