The Peterborough Child & Family Centres is currently seeking a full-time Food Procurement Coordinator for their Student Nutrition Programs (SNP). Apply by October 1, 2018.

Position Responsibilities

  • Supports community partners and local sites to maximize SNP funding for the purchase of safe, nutritious food.
  • Facilitates efficient sourcing, purchasing, storage, and distribution of food within the Central East Student Nutrition Program (SNPCE) through the development of regional and local partnerships with industry, producers, municipalities, and non-government organizations.
  • Works as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Work location is Peterborough with non-overnight travel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience working in food purchasing, warehousing and distribution in Ontario
  • Vehicle and valid driver’s license or access to personal transportation support
  • Please note the selected candidate will be required to submit to a criminal reference check prior to commencing work

Salary Range: $22.39-25.30 per hour.
