The Thunder Bay and Area Food Strategy has shared responses from a survey they sent to all of their city and rural candidates in the upcoming municipal elections, with questions regarding their commitment to improving access to healthy food, protecting food production areas, and supporting food and farm businesses.

The results of the survey are now live on their website and can be accessed by selecting the municipality or ward you are interested in viewing.

Candidates were required to complete each response by a firm deadline and limit their responses to 350 characters. Responses have not been edited, and only those received by the deadline were posted.

If you would like more information regarding a specific candidate’s platform, you are encouraged to contact them directly.
