Since the beginning of the summer, Ontario schools have been enrolling to participate in the fall 2018 Fresh from the Farm fundraiser — and there’s still time for your school to join in!

Fresh from the Farm raises funds for schools by selling Ontario-grown fruit and vegetables to the community. It’s a healthy fundraising opportunity that supports schools, local farmers and the economy, while also bringing healthier learning environments into schools.

The growing fundraiser is now eligible to over 5,000 schools representing over 72 Ontario school boards and First Nation Schools.

Since 2013, 1,165 schools have collectively distributed over 2.7 million pounds of Ontario produce, with sales of over $2.9 million.

This year, students will begin fundraising September 4th until early October, with deliveries scheduled throughout November.

School champions have until October 2 to enrol this year. Learn more on the Fresh from the Farm website and share with anyone who might be interested!
