Sustain Ontario Network Meetings happening in January 2018!

Are you interested in strengthening the Ontario Food System? Think about joining one of Sustain Ontario’s networks! Sustain Ontario’s networks will be meeting virtually in January 2018. The meetings will recap the in-person meeting at Bring Food Home, the networks policy position paper*, and steps moving forward. Old and new members are welcomed to join and work together to build a just and sustainable Ontario Food System.
Network Meetings:
Sustainable Food Enterprise Network – January 4th, 2018 at 10:00 am- 11:30 am
Farming and Farmland Network – January 11th, 2018 at 10:00 am- 11:30 am
Community Growing Network – January 18th, 2018 at 10:00 am- 11:30 am
Municipal Food Policy Network – January 18th, 2018 at 2:00 pm- 3:30 pm
Food Justice Network – January 25th, 2018 at 10:00 am- 11:30 am
Tentative Agenda for the network meetings:
- Recap in-person network meeting at Bring Food Home
- Review policy position papers
- Discuss steps moving these policy positions forward
- Future structure of the network

*The Networks cooperated with student researchers throughout 2017 to create policy position papers, in order to identify gaps, set direction and strength the Ontario food system.
