For our friends in Montreal, Quebec, Food Secure Canada is hosting an all-day conference and evening celebration,  Feast of Ideas for innovation in food // Festin d’idées pour l’innovation en alimentation, on Friday, November 10.

Feast of Ideas is two events bringing together innovation and food to showcase the dynamic food movement in Canada, guide public policy, and create an environment for interdisciplinary exchange.

The day will kick off with a breakfast conference, and continue with a series of conferences, plenary sessions and workshops, which will explore the possibilities for social innovation within food policy, alongside leaders from the environmental, health and food security fields. The evening will then move on to the Maison de l’économie sociale for an event celebrating projects and ideas from the food movement.
