Provision Coalition is hosting a hands-on Food Loss + Waste Measurement & Reporting Workshop and Facility Tour designed for food & beverage manufacturers and retailers on Tuesday, November 14, in Burlington ON.

The one-day workshop and tour will provide participants with the necessary tools and strategies to address food loss and waste in their facilities.

Delivered by Kai Robertson, Lead Advisor, Food Loss + Waste (FLW) Protocol, World Resources Institute (WRI), along with other industry experts, the workshop will present practical ways of:

Mapping Food Loss + Waste (FLW) in your Facility
Identifying Root Causes
Finding Solutions
Engaging Leadership Buy-in, Building a Business Case
Monitoring and Reporting Progress

After the workshop, participants will attend a tour of Ippolito Fruit & Produce, who have been pilot testing chemical imaging technology for production line grading and sorting at their Burlington facility; attendees will get to see first-hand how this innovative Canadian technology is helping Ippolito reduce their food loss and waste.
