Loving spoonful is a non-for-profit organization that works towards reducing hunger among communities and collaborating with their multiple partners to enhance access to healthy, local foods.
Unwasted Dinner
The Loving Spoonful will be hosting their second annual Unwasted dinner on Thursday, August 10th from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. The dinner will be held at water front campus at the Delta Hotel and includes a 5-course meal made from surplus foods and served by 6 different chefs! Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here.

Kingston’s Night Market
Additionally to the Unwasted Dinner, The Loving Spoonful, will be collaborating with The Memorial Centre Farmers Market for Kingston’s First Night Market. Come out and celebrate local producers and feast on pig roast and corn roast, with lots of beverages! Thursday August 24th, 6-10 pm at the Memorial Centre. Admission by donation!
Memorial Centre Farmers Market is Located at 303 York St, Kingston and was founded in 2012 by a handful of local farmers seeking to increase access to local food and bring a great life to Memorial Centre Grounds.
