Here are some local Farmers Markets and other events around Ontario during Local Food Week!

Engage with your community and obtain the freshest produce from the farmers themselves. Check out Farmers Market Ontario for more information on farmer’s markets across Ontario.

Nathan Philips Square Farmers Markets

Location: City Hall

Date: Starting from May 31, 2017, to October 18, 2017

Time: Wednesday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

P.S: There will be no market on June 21, 28 and July 5 due to Canada150 activities.

 

Niagara Falls Farmers Market

Location: 5943 Sylvia Pl, Niagara Falls, ON 

Time: Saturdays from 6 AM – 12 Noon

 

Mountjoy Farmers’ Market 

Location: 814 Park Ave, Timmins, ON P4N 8J9

Date: Saturday until mid-October

Time: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

 

Haute Goat FARM LIFE Series: Beekeeping #2

To bee or not to bee – Shakespeare

Plant a Forest 

Boom, County of Wellington’s Green Legacy Program is planting tree’s to make our forests come back to life. Come on down and plant a tree- or maybe three. Come out and make a difference in this world! For more details, check out Ignatius Jesuit Centre

What is the future of our environment World Environment Day Event   

Waterloo Region Blue Dot Team wants to reconnect you back with the environment in recognition of World Environment Day. Listen to some wise stories and help change our ecosystem, so we can live healthier lives. There will be games, entertainment, activities for kids and refreshments. Don’t be mean and go green.
