If you’ve heard of Seedy Saturday before, you may be excited to hear that it will be coming to the regions of Halton and Peel in February and March, specifically in Mississauga on Feb. 22nd, and Burlington on March 1st.

Seedy Saturdays are a series of non-profit, public events across the country that are organized by individuals and community groups. They provide a public and local venue where community members can learn from one another, exchange ideas and seeds, attend workshops, eat good food, and purchase seeds and plants.

You can click on either of the flyers to open them up for more information on the Mississauga and Burlington events. The Seeds of Diversity website also has some additional information.

Are there seed-sharing events happening in your Ontario community that you’d like to share? Let us know in the comments!
