After attending the City to Country ‘Food in Schools’ tour last September, Kimberly Davidson was inspired to create Biking for Bellies, a fundraising event created to support school nutrition programs across the Greater Toronto Region.

This year cyclists are biking in support of Thorncliffe Park Public School’s meal program, the largest school meal program in North America. This 2 day event will be taking place August 4th – 5th. Cyclists will be riding 200km from Thorncliffe Park Public School, through the Kawarthas, to Bobcaygeon.

All proceeds raised will go directly to the Toronto Foundation for Students Success (TFSS), a registered charitable foundation of the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) created to ensure that all students are ready and able to learn in classrooms.
