During the month of May, Patagonia Toronto will open its doors to the Toronto community to celebrate the best of Ontario’s local food and drink through a series of evening events.

May’s food-focused events will be held at the store on Thursday evenings between 6pm and 8pm and will be complemented with a series of ‘Enviro Saturday’ events.

May 17th – At ‘Mollusks for the Masses,’ learn a little about the history and business of sustainable oceans, sample some oysters and learn to shuck

May 19th – Not Far From The Tree will share information about their non profit that puts Toronto’s fruit to good use by picking and sharingthe bounty

May 24th – Join Good Food Revolution  and a series of artisanal producers of food and wine for a sampling event

May 26th – Oceanwise will talk about their conservation program that aims to educate consumers about the issues surrounding sustainable seafood

May 31st – Chef and food-advocate, Brad Long (Café Belong and Veritas) will lead a discussion on the balance between local, organic and sustainable foods
