<p><strong>Margaret Webb</strong>, who grew up on a farm just outside Barrie, Ont., is the author of <em>Apples to Oysters: A Food Lover&#8217;s Tour of Canadian Farms</em>. She has written on food for the<em>Toronto Star</em>, <em>The Globe and Mail</em>, <em>More Magazine</em> and<em>Canadian Geographic</em>, and is the keynote speaker at the 2010 Guelph Organic Conference. She teaches magazine writing at Ryerson University and lives in Toronto.</p>
