ACT (Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins) & Taste of Timmins, in conjunction with The People’s Food Policy Project, are hosting a Cross-Country Kitchen Table Talk!

What is it?  Currently Canada has no official food policy!  By joining in on these table talks, you can help create Canada’s first food sovereignty policy for the people and by the people!

The Timmins Food Culture & Food Policy Table Talk: “Values, Barriers and Alternatives” is a local discussion with the power to affect national policy.  The Cross-Country Table Talks are an opportunity for members of a community to voice their opinions about what is wrong with the current food system and how we can fix it.  The information collected from these talks will be passed along to the People’s Food Policy Project organisation.  To learn more about this organisation, click www.peoplesfoodpolicy.ca.

Join us to create real change.  This coule be the most important public policy development since Medicare!
