ACT (Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins) & Taste of Timmins, in conjunction with The People’s Food Policy Project, are hosting a Cross-Country Kitchen Table Talk!
What is it? Â Currently Canada has no official food policy! Â By joining in on these table talks, you can help create Canada’s first food sovereignty policy for the people and by the people!
The Timmins Food Culture & Food Policy Table Talk: “Values, Barriers and Alternatives” is a local discussion with the power to affect national policy. Â The Cross-Country Table Talks are an opportunity for members of a community to voice their opinions about what is wrong with the current food system and how we can fix it. Â The information collected from these talks will be passed along to the People’s Food Policy Project organisation. Â To learn more about this organisation, click www.peoplesfoodpolicy.ca.
Join us to create real change. Â This coule be the most important public policy development since Medicare!
