Ecological Farmers of Ontario Summer Tour

On July 19-21, 2012, join us on a summer bus trip to Rodale (3 days/2 nights). We will participate in the Rodale Institute Annual Field Day where speakers will present research information and a tour of their research farm.

We will also visit include several farm stops in New York and Pennsylvannia, including Eric and Anne Nordell’s vegetable farm and Steve Groff’s Farm to discuss cover crops and crop management systems.

Biking for Bellies

After attending the City to Country ‘Food in Schools’ tour last September, Kimberly Davidson was inspired to create Biking for Bellies, a fundraising event created to support school nutrition programs across the Greater Toronto Region.

This year cyclists are biking in support of Thorncliffe Park Public School’s meal program, the largest school meal program in North America. This 2 day event will be taking place August 4th – 5th. Cyclists will be riding 200km from Thorncliffe Park Public School, through the Kawarthas, to Bobcaygeon.

Celebrate Local, Sustainable Food & Drink this May!

During the month of May, Patagonia Toronto will open its doors to the Toronto community to celebrate the best of Ontario’s local food and drink through a series of evening events.
