Across Ontario, food and farming co-operatives dedicated to a fair, healthy, and sustainable food system are coming together through LOFC Network, a small and rapidly growing collaboration striving to build collective capacity through education and training locally, regionally, and provincially. The LOFC Network operates on the sixth of the seven co-operative principles: co-operation among co-operatives.
LOFC seeks a leader knowledgeable of local food and farm sectors who brings at least five years experience in managing non-profits and/or co-ops; demonstrates ability to work independently, remotely, and in a team; possesses skills with communications, general accounting and financial planning; has experience with fundraising and event organizing; and can provide effective human resource management.
