Calling all researchers!  Here are two exciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) for research focusing on Food Literacy Measurement as part of the Healthy Eating Locally Driven Collaborative Project.  The LDCP program, funded by Public Health Ontario, helps public health units collaborate on applied research and program evaluation of a critical public health problem or program.

A Research Consultant is needed from March – July 2016 to work collaboratively with LDCP public health professionals on a Scoping Review of literature to identify and summarize the attributes of food literacy including food skills.  A second Research Consultant is sought for August 2016 – February 2017 to conduct a Delphi process to determine priority attributes of food literacy including food skills for measurement and tool development.  The Research Consultant will plan, organize, and implement several rounds of the Delphi Technique and work collaboratively with LDCP to produce a final ranking of priority attributes of food literacy that reflects consensus among these experts who also are the end users of the information.

Specific details about the project and the application process are found within the RFPs available from the RFP Coordinator.

One applicant may submit for the two RFPs.  Deadline for both RFPs is Friday, February 4th at 4:30 pm.
