fieldtotableJoin Sustain Ontario member FoodShare Toronto for a Field-to-Table Farmers’ Meeting: Getting Healthy Local Food Into Communities on Thursday, June 11th. The meeting will focus on sharing solutions to help increase farmers product sales in communities. There will be speakers from farmers working with FoodShare and other community groups, who are selling their food directly to communities and making a profit. Other speakers will discuss how to get more local food into hospitals, and helping farmers sell to community agencies.

The meeting will be from 10am-1:30pm, and will include both breakfast and lunch. You can register for this FREE event at the Eventbrite page.

There is an incredible amount of untapped potential for farmers to sell directly to communities and institutions. You’ll have a chance to learn new ideas to bring back to your own communities, as well as new contacts from this event.
