pcgta-logoThe Permaculture Living Convergence (PLC) 2014 will be taking place in Toronto on December 20th and 21st. This year’s theme “A Transformed Toronto” will be explored through workshops, panels and roundtables with an opening address will be from Malik Yakini.

Permaculture GTA states, “The Permaculture Living Convergence comes out of a need to find adequate solutions, services, support and resources that put the needs of community leaders and change agents front and center.  The 2 day event will touch upon a range of topics such as but not limited to food security, seed saving, slow food, decolonization, safer spaces, social justice, food justice, food policy and legislation, indigenous rights, eldership, holistic wellness, community engagement, queering spaces, agroecology, dismantling racism in the institution, transformative change, whole system solutions and so on.”

Those interested in volunteering can email volunteer@permaculturegta.org. Artists, artisans and performing artists are encouraged to email connect@permaculturegta.org if interested in showcasing their art or selling their products in the conference’s market.
