cfcc-logoWhere will the next Community Food Centre be in Ontario? Community Food Centres Canada (CFCC), a Sustain Ontario Member, is inviting Ontario-based organizations to work with them as partners to kick-start a centre in 2015.

2015 Ontario Partner Selection

We are pleased to call on Ontario-based organizations to submit an Expression of Interest to develop a Community Food Centre in 2015. Thanks to funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and other supporters, we are able to work with one new Ontario partner organization to join other Ontario Community Food Centres The Stop CFC (Toronto), The Local CFC (Stratford), The Table CFC (Perth), and Regent Park CFC (Toronto). This is an opportunity to collaborate with and access resources from Community Food Centres Canada to kick-start a Community Food Centre in your community that will bring people together to grow, cook, share and advocate for good food.

We encourage you to carefully review the information provided below. This is not a traditional granting process; our partnership is intended as a long-term relationship that involves a significant commitment from your organization in terms of vision, energy and desire to incorporate a Community Food Centre into your mission, as well as a commensurate commitment on our side to see the project flourish long-term.

Application guidelines and procedures
Before you begin, please download and thoroughly review the Ontario Partner Selection Guidelines and Backgrounder document. It provides important details on the selection process, eligibility criteria, and what it means to be a Community Food Centre.
