eatalgomaThis past Saturday, June 14th, the Rural Agri-Innovation Network (RAIN), a member of Sustain Ontario, hosted the first annual Eat Algoma Local Food Festival.

A celebration of the local food in Algoma County, the event brought together farmers, restauranteurs, and consumers. Hundreds of visitors got to enjoy farm-fresh food vendors, children’s activities, live music, a pop-up patio, and the Restaurant Food Challenge Competition.

All profits generated from the event will go to projects of RAIN, so more people can enjoy local food and agriculture in Algoma!
