Fruit Picking Coordinator
June 9 – October 31, 2014
30 hours/week

Position Overview
Not Far From The Tree, a project of Tides Canada Initiatives, puts Toronto’s abundance of local fruit to good use by picking and sharing the bounty. We engage and mobilize Torontonians to steward the food-producing trees in our urban forest. Our innovative and award-winning programs promote urban ecology, activate local food and build social cohesion.

Reporting to the Project Director, the Fruit Picking Coordinator will schedule fruit picks, manage fruit picking volunteers, ensure our equipment is in good working order and maintain excellent records of the program. Please note: this is a desk job and the position does not require the coordinator to be present on picks.
