Summer students 2013Are you a student seeking a summer internship credit or co-op placement connected to sustainable food and farming? We’re looking for talented, energetic individuals who want to grow their professional portfolio and network by dedicating their time and creativity to various tasks such as policy research, working group facilitation, fundraising development, and/or design support. These positions provide opportunities to learn about many initiatives and groups pursuing a healthier provincial food system, while allowing students to use organizational tools and resources to develop professional skills in order to meet the needs of these networks.

Applicants should email opportunities@sustainontario.ca with a cover letter and resume outlining why they would make a stand-out candidate. Applications are due April 23rd, with interviews the following week. Preference will be given to applicants who can work from the Toronto office, although applications from across the province are encouraged and will be considered.

We will also be recruiting part-time volunteers on a rolling basis for special projects such as community event support and occasional writing assignments for our popular blog. Individuals should contact the email address above to express their interest along with a resume.
